Crystal Castles - Vanished (Mr. Vega Remix)

I can’t take it. I can’t take how good “Vanished” is. This remix just adds to how good it is. It’s beat is bigger. It’s echoy. I can’t even describe it. Vanished is definitely the best song off CC’s self-titled album. They need to put out a “Vanished EP” and put Vega’s remix on it.

Drinking Electricity - Good Times (Dance Mix) RA let me know about this in the last post about Crystal Castles. But it’s not another edit; this time it’s the original by Drinking Electricity. It was released by in 1987. I didn’t know there was an original. Doesn’t matter cause this track is pretty cool. I can’t decide if I like the original better than CC’s version, but it might be an even match-up. This one sounds more like an actual song. Here’s the dance mix of Drinking Electricity’s “Good Times”

Crystal Castles - Good Times (Fitforuse Edit) Good Times was always my favorite Crystal Castles song, so of course I was interested. After listening, I think that it’s not too different from the original, but the changes made actually make the song better. I know it’s an edit and not a full on remix, but I kind of was expecting more. I like the way it is though. Take a listen, it’s worth your time. And don’t worry, this one isn’t full on 8-bit electrothrash like some of CC’s work. This one is more like Air War.
