If you didn’t read the last post, it was basically about I love Philly electro/rap and then posted some songs by Benni E. Again, thanks to JJ from Mirror Boiz, I got a track off my most-desired mixtape by Sgt. Sass “Double S For Mayor”.

This one uses 50 Cent’s “I Get Money” as the background music, but I think the duo made it a bunch better (kind of like when they remade Salt n Peppa’s “I’ll Take Your Man”). And it has Benni E to just make the raps so much better.

I didn’t know if there’s album art for this mixtape. I didn’t feel like looking and I was feeling creative.

This Philly rap/electro scene has been really exciting to me. Thanks to a recently acquire friend from Mirror Boiz, I got some sick tracks. Off Benni E’s killer mixtape “Microphone Influenza” comes this one. It sounds like it’s based on a sliced up jungle from Meow-mix. I think that’s what that company was called… Anyway, don’t think that somehow this rap will be any softer. “Hit That Fashion Scene” brings back the dirty raps that you may have heard in other posts.

From what I hear, it would be good to check Benni’s myspace every now and then to see what she has cooking, such as the new track “Can You Go For It”. Her album is dropping 2009.

Benni E. is killer. This lesbian rapper is gonna be big. Her raps are fast and ill. Her recent remix of Lil Wayne’s “A Milli” has got me enticed. The more I listen the more I love her style. There’s not many rappers like her out there right now.

I actually found myself laughing at some of the stuff she says in her raps as I was browsing her Myspace.

Benni E. - I’m Good This one actually sounds like it could be an M.I.A. song that she just rapped over. I think that’s the point because she says something like “Sicker than Bird Flu, yes, I’m good”

Bennie E - Call Me Daddy Representing her lesbian-ness over a classic Spank Rock track “Backyard Betty”. Awesome.
