Le Corps Mince de Françoise - Cool and Bored // Picture Chicks on Speed mixed with Yelle and a little bit of CSS. That’s basically Le Corps Mince de Françoise in the one song on their myspace called “Cool and Bored” (I can’t prove that myspace song fact as the player for myspace isn’t working at the moment. i’m just going on what BigStereo says). Don’t be turned off by the mention of Yelle, this trio has an awesome sound. There’s a nice set of bells going on the background going on. As BigStereo put it, “‘Cool and Bored’ is just waiting to be the hipster anthem”.
Is “Cool and Bored” going to be the new “D.A.N.C.E.”? Should Ed Banger Records sign LCMDF so they can get more artists that EVERYBODY loves.
“Cool and Bored” has been on repeat for a while here on this iMac. I didn’t like the lead vocalist’s voice for a while, but it’s the kind of thing that grows on you. It’s just a happy song to listen to.
The Helsinki-based band really hit the nail on the head with making a catchy song. The transition between the chorus and the other verses, but it’s just so catchy I don’t care. The picture of the three girls perfectly describes how the song sounds.
